Hi I am in Spain just now at a friends flat and the cover from the switch of the water heater is broken and keeps falling off when you turn it on so I am going to change it. It comprises of one 2 pin socket which the boiler plug fits into and next to that the switch which activates the 2 pin socket. I have fitted the 2 pin socket but I am at a loss what the switch would be called. I have looked at the names of the switches in AKI which is the equvilent to a B&Q and they are the normal light switch, pulsador, and cruzamiento. Translations give pulsador as push button and cruzamiento as crossover. Much obliged if anyone can help. TIA:yes:

Switch in Spanish is 'interruptor' which is fairly self explanatory. I know this applies to a light switch (interruptor de la luz) so I'm guessing it would also apply to a socket switch (interruptor de la toma) or maybe a switched spur (can't help you with the Spanish for 'spur' I'm afraid). Pulsador would be like a sprung return bell-press type switch I think.

Chanced my arm and contacted a Spanish electrician on line and he informs me it is an "interruptor bipolar" that I need. Looking at it with a google search and the make of Legrand it looks correct.
