Hi Mate, Any one of you can explaine, why when I installed new socket(BG Integrated RCD protected), it works with car charger and not working with lawn mover. Some other issue is that when car charger not working when connected with extension but it works good with lawn mover.
Thanks
Mano

So the lawn mower tripps the RCD when plugged directly in ?
But when connected to the same RCD via an extention lead is ok ?

Sorry for confused you all. It’s in the garage, I installed new socket outside with same circuit inside the garage. Car charger works only if I connected directly to socket (both inside and outside) problem is now the lawn mover is not working with outside socket which I newly installed(problem is not getting On, RCD is ok), but it works with extension lead directly from inside socket.
Before installing new socket outside, I tried car charger with extension from inside socket and it was not working.
Hope I didn’t make more confusion
Thanks
Mano

I’m here, but I’m looking for advice please.
Thanks
Oh right I thought if you were not too far away I could come to yours and help, but if you are looking to sort it on your own, then good luck.

@ MNV... that's an offer you can't refuse.

pete, you're a star.

Looking at the price of multimeters I can see how a lawn mower and an extension lead is an attractive alternative. I just didn't know it was acceptable. Tell me do you have to have them calibrated and do they take up much space in the van?

here's a lawn mover. it's diesel.

They take up lots of room in van, you have to give them room to breath or they will go bang, I think
