The socket is due to located under the overhang of the breakfast bar, but wanted to see if there was a socket with a cover to stop little fingers getting into it.

If it's a BS socket outlet, there's no way little fingers will get into it.... Not unless the owners are foolish enough to plug a "protector" in.
As the professional. maybe suggest something which would fulfill their power requirements without hanging under the bar. :)
 
I have fitted MK floor sockets on the side of an island unit, assuming you can flush fit ? They look neat and tidy when not in use and my client loved the 'look'.

go and look at how socket outlets to BS1363 are constructed first before posting tripe like this...
now, if it were those socket cover thingys....
