Many years ago I came across 'soft' cable.
Rubber (perhaps) rather than plastic.
Folded up neatly (no kinks).
Full 13A capacity.

Just the opposite of black and decker orange cable.

My extension lead is more than tatty and needs replacing.

Visits to 3 electrical outlets have resulted in blank looks from
behind the counter.

Am I alone in rating this type of cable worth spending on?

Any suggestions what it might have been? A name? A supplier?

Any leads appreciated.

Do you mean something like this?

gawd. beaten again, and by a sothern er. was going to say that, or silicon flex.

1. Guessing pond flex is for a pond pump wiring.
2. ... Arctic flex (no, I'm not going to guess that one <grin/»)

Thanks 'Contact'.

Thank you gents. Screwfix sold it, lovely soft / flexible cable.
Bought the .75mm since it's for a 600W device!
Appreciated.

Now all you need to do is protect it with the relevant sized fuse..

Ordered, but refused! RS not as careful perhaps as they once were.
