Solar design with shade analysis

Hi there,

We have been asked to price for a new build system on a flat room which has highish parapit walls. As we dont have PV sol and I am concerned with the shading from the parapit walls, I was wondering if anyone knows of someone who offers 3rd party design service (obveously we expect to pay for this).

Any help would be greatful.

You could use Google Sketch Up - couple of users on here reckon it's pretty good, or a simple calculation based on a little bit of Pythagorus (Calculating lengths of triangle sides (Pythagorean) - Free Math Help) or (Right-Angled Triangle Calculator) will tell you where the shadow will fall and when
