Hi All,
I'm near stafford, got a low level garden building ( 1.2 mtrs hi, 5 degree slope ) ready to install mid next week, ideally 3Kw, 12, panels, Fronius or Aurora power 1 inverter !!
Can any of you installers tell us what the nationwide availability of panels / inverters is, word is that the stampede has created a shortage!
Would it be wise to send the FIT forms to n power (as a customer) pre install to get the ball rolling, IF it can be installed before 9th Dec ?
 thanks
Martin

Martin, assuming N Power is similar to other suppliers, a valid application has to be accompanied by the MCS certificate - and you'll only get that after install.

You always have the option of guaranteed next day delivery, or E.ON at least will accept emailed applications up until midnight on the 11th Dec. But, no mistakes, eh?!

Thanks, the dame an N power said, try to get the application in in the 1st week december, but we can't guarantee anything!!!!! Whats up with them, can't they employ some paper pushers for 2 weeks!!!!

As I understand it, an application must be sent AFTER the installation and must be COMPLETE with MCS certificate. The nPower FIT application form is on their site. The application *SHOULD* be honoured if RECEIVED, not PROCESSED (so send Special Delivery or at least 1st class Recorded Mail) before the cut-off date. I have my acknowledgement from nPower 24 days after they received my app., they say up to 6 weeks to finalise (6 wks from WHEN they don't say). Alan
