I am a sparky of 10years + and I have recently rewired the house but I think I may have dropped a ------- with regards to the aerial side of things. It is not something I have much experience in apart from 1st fixing in front of cctv engineers.

So I have wired without thinking 7 x RG59 coaxes from each room to the loft ready for an indoor aerial connection. The house is now plastered and painted.

All I want to do is plug in a (smart) t.v at each point and receive freeview. Have I cocked this up or not?

think you'll need an aerial amp in the attic. have you made provision for power to it?

Cheers for fast reply, its too late to change now so im stuck really. What I am also struggling with is all decent indoor aerials are F-connectors. Can you recommend an aerial and booster (7 way) that is not F-connection?

telectrix I have installed a socket in the loft ready.

I cant seem to find a decent aerial and 7way+ booster that's not f-connection? ideally wanted Labgear equipment but its all F-connectors. Any brand recommendations?

f connector is the standard for aerial wiring. if theres something else on the cable chop it off and fit required plug.
setup with aerial-signal splitter/booster -individual sockets should work.

Twist F connectors onto them.. Really easy and good solid connection. You can get all different adaptors that fit onto F connectors for connecting TVs, Radios, BNC etc. Pretty sure screw fix sell 10 way amps.. Or something close to that
