Im going to run a sub mains to an extension on a restaurant, the extension is to provide extra space for the dish washers,
its all single phase equipment.
Im taking a 16mm 4c swa from a 3phase mains baord.
Its tight on space in the mains board to fit an enclosure for an MCCB or switch fuse.
the sub main will have a main switch and rcbos.
anyone any other suggestions regarding the feed end of the sub main?
cheers
I am meeting the customer tomorrow and will see if he'll go for a 3 phase sub to future proof his requirements.

Is an MCCB suitable for a restaurant?

If i have enough room in the mains cupboard to gland a 4c 16mm into a switch fuse ill go down that route i think, i was thinking of an mccb if it would be more appropriate to carry 3phase to the sub mains??
