Hi,

Just a bit of advice, ive came across a switched fuse above a sink in a toilet. Ive recommended to move this 300mm away from sink and gave it a code 2.

Ive came across a post were people was saying if it a switched fuse it should be moved but a non switched fuse would be fine. what are your thoughts on that chaps?

When we say above the sink how far above are we talking, if its not likely to get splashed then I cannot see the issue.

If that were the case then why would you recommend moving 300mm instead of swapping for an unswitched one?

Which regulation are you using to support the C2 and what is the potential danger you see here?

I'm not sure we are going to get any more feedback to be honest. He has ignored the other two threads he started recently and not bothered to answer questions to update the threads or even thank anyone for their input.

He followed the same pattern a year ago when he posted threads exposing his lack of basic knowledge, and when questioned pretended to be a trainee until it turned out he was a self employed person with no experience and a home study course under his belt.

He couldn't be bothered to pick up his regs book then and I don't think he can now.
