Hello nice people of Electricians Forum,im a fairly new member so pls take it easy on me .
But thank you in advance for any replies i do appreciate them all..

I was just wondering what kind of set you guys have or what you guys do to keep a supply goin during a full house rewire??

I know some guys like to get a couple of sockets goin around the house, but i personally prefer or always have a temporary supply board,
17th ed CU
Metal clad sockets (4)
Rcd, 2 x 32A mcb running two rings.

I was just wondering what you guys and girls do and how you set your own boards up.
Thank you.

all i do is fit a small DB, RCD and a 20A breaker feeding 1 double socket, all on a piece of plywood. builders can use extension leads for tools.

The reason i have 2 rings is just incase of builders/plasterers using there transformers etc.

I already have one made but thats at another job and i have a rewire to start end of nextweek..

But why use ring circuits? That's just a waste of time unless you're installing these sockets over a wide area.
I suppose running a radial would be fine and then drop the mcb to a 20a,

The only reason i did the ring was i had all the things available to me from a job i had done.
