Most things Tesla are in short supply or have a very long waiting list.

400,000 people have paid $1000 deposit on the new Model 3 car, currently being built at the rate of less than 100 per month when it was supposed to be 20,000 per month.

The tesla tiles are very good and unless up very close you wouldnt know the are PV panels. Have seen a demo. From what i gather a select few developments will be allowed them in the uk at first - think grand designs type of homes. I know there are companies itching to get hold of them in bulk in places like australia as they think it could completely revolutionise the whole solar pv domestic scene. once the tech is out there they will be copied and price will tumble. in a decade or so i could see all new and a lot of old houses in places like spain south usa and australia having them - basically anywhere with lots of sun
