testing 2 radials in one mcb

When testing a Consumer Unit with two radials feeding one socket on each circuit, wich results would you record on the condition report?

Unless I've read it wrong, then record both radials as they're different circuits.

not different circuits. the OCPD is the start of 1 circuit, no matter how many cables it feeds.

I would also treat it as two separate circuits and record both test results.

that's how i read it. perfectly acceptable. whilst regs. require only the highest reading of the circuit, murdoch's suggestion is sound.

Yep this is what I tend to do plus you see a lot of this when 2 lighting circuits are put together to make room for a shower circuit

Exactly! I read it as an RFC split across 2 MCB's. Obviously you guys understand what the op is on about..

would it be a ring? or would you class it as a radial with 2 parallel cables?

it's 1 MCB with 2 legs going out. each leg to a socket. so basically 2 radial branches. whet would be of concern is if the MCB was a 32A feeding 2 2.5mm legs, not configured as a RFC.

i know. my question was whether 2 cables feeding 1 socket would be classed as a ring or a radial. i'd go with radial.
