It was in the process of being rewired by a.n.other then there was a fire.

I actually feel sorry for the homeowner, they probably didn't know the difference between a Electrical Trainee DI and a qualified spark, the cheap tradesman mightn't have been that cheap. I hope there was adequate insurance.

not sure if that's how they role in Nottingham, but when someone quotes less than me I always wish them luck, I don't really do domestic rewires as I generally quote 'C' whereas lots of companies quote 'a' then move onto 'b' somewhere on the build and generally end up at 'd' and there is no educating most people when it comes to selecting contractors.

Saying that you don't need a blow lamp with push fit do you.

Any news on what caused the fire?

it caught fire in the middle of the night it was mid rewire and was having some plumbing works carried out - not sure of the cause, its the third burn - out I have attended before and after

The Electrical Trainee spark inadvertently set off the Gas leak which was installed by the Electrical Trainee Plumber
