Bit of an odd one, but one of you might have a an old Belling 900G Farmhouse range cooker and the main oven thermostat has failed.
The part number is 46THC8/J5, however it's no longer available and I can't find one anywhere.
Does anyone know if there's a solution, such as using a different part/thermostat.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most manufacturers of older ovens used off the shelf thermostats and simmer stats from manufacturers such as Sunvic and Diamond H etc. Rather than a special part. Posting a clear photo of the faulty part would be useful.

It's the switch which turns the oven on there is no light and no click when I turn it. Everything else works by this. It's a 932 model everywhere I look it's been discontinued

is it possible to get a photo of the back of the switch? obviously isolate the supply to the cooker first, before removing cover/s.

Belling, espares and others could not help. However, electricalsales could.

This supplier says:

Belling : OVEN THERMOSTAT 41TH69/KO REPLACES 46THC8/J5

I have rung them and confirmed this item will replace the defective thermostat, apart from the fact the shaft size is different. They can supply a knob for it but it would not match all the others. Suggest you ring them on 01282 866800.
