Discuss Torque Screwdriver..... in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Ah, yes, the summer of '76 - truly one to remember.
The drought got so bad round our way that the water company took to delivering water by bowser in the street.

Indeed so. 1976 was the year that I started my apprenticeship, got laid for the first time, got stoned for the first time, bought my first guitar and amp, took my first driving lesson, and had the pleasure of seeing Status Quo three nights on the trot at the legendary Glasgow Apollo. Fond memories.

Alas, Status Quo are rubbish these days and have been since the early 80s, I no longer enjoy driving, don't smoke weed any more, and am gradually growing more and more disillusioned with this electrical contracting lark. Oh to be sixteen again!

Amen to every single one of those, brother!

Ah, if only I'd known then what I know now. How life would have been very different.

Aye, Status Quo on the cassette player in the car, smoking grass and drinking while you drive...
No wonder I can't cope with the modern lifestyle!

(Which is why I moved to Spain...)

BTW...what the heck is all this to do with torque screwdrivers?

I guess I was stoned and I missed it...

(answers on a postcard, or just reply here!)
and JK...I will be very surprised if you ain't the first to guess the band!)
