hello want to start electrician training, just wanted to get a review on a centre, im planning on doing my training at able skills in dartford any help would be welcomed.

Go to your local college and ask how much City and Guilds 2330 will cost you. I'd bet it will be a damn sight cheaper than the training centre who will probably push pretty much worthless qualifications your way. A little tip, ask them if after completing their training whether you will qualify for JIB grading of Installation Electrician.

Can you tell us exactly what it is you will get at able skills???

2330 level 2,3, 2356, 17 edition

none of the college in my area do 2330 london

Others asked these questions while I was typing

To get the quals needed for JIB grading of Installation Electrician you will need C&G 2330, amongst others, this will take a couple of years if you have no existing C&Gs.
What quals are they selling you and how much for mate?
My bet is
C&G 2382 aka 17th edition
EAL (or similar) Domestic Installers cert
C&G 2391 Inspection and testing (not an easy course even if you have the underpinning knowledge)
C&G 2377 aka portable Appliance Testing
All for the sum of £3000 minimum
I'm not trying to rain on your parade here mate but these will not get you the JIB grade you want. Some training centres will promise you the world on a silver plate and the time spent obtaining a good thorough grounding will never be time wasted

i have tried at the colleges but they want you to be employed as an apprentice before you can enrol and they only do the new 2357 course
