Hi, keeping abrest of regs isn't easy for electricians in the field. Try rewriting a course to cover everything needed to pass exams.

I agree with over 700 changes in the first ammendment and the majority of which are editorial it is is a night mare having to rewrite training material. half the struggle is simply haing to identify what one word has been changed and what impact that has on each regulation. Half the time you spend ages tring to find what the actual change is and it turns out to be a word change for example Hazard becoming danger and vice versa.

The IET do this for one reason and one reason only, because they can. Sorry 2 reasons, they sell a lot of books which cost an arm and a leg, and like car insurers they have got us by the short and curlys cos we have no option but to have it.

Cheers..........Howard
