Does anybody know if there is such a thing as a "two stage" switch for the bathroom? ie pull once, and the light comes on, then pull a second time and the extractor fan comes on?

Not too sure, as how would you turn the light off then?

I think the third pull would just turn off both as normal...

You could always just break the switch live from the light switch to fan through a pull cord with a neon and put it beside it, that way they'l know which is which

Yes, a second switch would be easy enough to fit, but I just wondered if there was already something suitable out there..

That's the sort of thing, but not sure how you would physically mount that...But at least I now know what they are called which is a step forward

Spon, that's not a 3-way momentary switch. It is a 3-pole fan isolation switch. One pull for on, one pull for off.
