Underfloor heating not working

Hi, can I wire the under floor heating in the kitchen direct for short period to check if it is working ok

first dead test the element. continuity and IR. if all OK, then power up with a clamp meter in use. see if it's drawing juice. if it is, sounds like the sensor or the stat has failed.

No test kit and was working

So the options are:

Fuse has failed
Mat has failed
Sensor has failed.

You can do the first one but without test kit the 2nd and 3rd you can't do anything to test.

You can do a continuity test on the mat and the sensor as well I believe.
