A few weeks into my apprenticeship we had to go and install CCTV in a brass house....

On a ship trooping to the Falkland Islands 1982

few of theguys i worked with installed some lights in alex salmonds house, worked on one of the RAF bases that only had radio transmitters dotted on the disused airfield , for contacting trident no less

place only had 4 or 5 staff , 1 central building on the runway, no security on the gates but when we approached we were examined by an invisible camera before the gate opened

i felt a bit ill after working there for a few weeks, probably down to the RF waves

has a 4megawatt backup engine aswell which came out of a ship, interesting for something nobody knows is there, probably loads of these little radio stations over the country
