usb inspection camera

I was thinking to get myself one of these:

do you have some experiences with that? good value for £40 or waste of time?

been to a job where diy client was reinforcing his squeaky staircase with some screws, looks like he hit one leg of upstairs ring. its a nice wooden staircase, i dont want to do some blind bashing will prefer to come equipped.

I was looking at these. They are a lot cheaper than a full camera and screen kit. I would be interested if anyone has any feedback.
