Hi, I`m looking to contract hire a van (Ford custom, Vivaro, Traffic etc).

Looking for recommendations for the best companies to deal with. also the pro`s and cons of contract hire.

I would not do a contract hire
My local council had a good deal on contract hire until they handed the vans back
The retailer made more from the 'faults' found on the returned vans than they did for the lease contract. Some repair bills were more than the van was to lease for 3 years

I would always buy a van with HP and pay it off. Then it's yours

I was once told “it’s far better to own your own donkey, than pay for somebody else’s racehorse!”

missed that, but several 2009 priced around the 8k mark. they hold their value as they are so reliable. mine's a 2004 done 190k . i had it almost 3 years and all i've spent apart from oil changes and mots is 2 tyres.
