If you are interested please message me. I am not really looking to post anything to be honest but would consider it.

Everything has always been well looked after and kept in the warm opposed to outside in a van.

I am not selling any other tools, only ones that I will not have any use for.

Some very nice kit there uksparks, looks like you've been polishing them! Hope you get some buyers. Sorry to hear your closing down, are you hanging up your side cutters.

I’ve closed the business down and just decided to take a break basically. Not sure what I’m going to do but at the moment I’m doing nothing.

Anything beats scrubbing round lofts and chasing money. I just thought sod it, I’m not doing this anymore.

Yep know what you mean, do mainly kitchen & bathroom refurbs. Bathrooms only mean on thing, lofts! Hate them, especially in the summer.

When I semi retired a few years ago, I thought coming back to this would be a sinch o_O

Good luck in your new role, you only live once.

Wow, good luck to you whatever you decide to do. Sounds like you're making a life-change more than a job change. If you decide to hitch-hike Africa for the next few years give me a shout when you hit Cape Town.

There is a darn sight easier ways to make money.

Unless you are working flat out every minute of the day it’s simply not worth the hassle.

I have enjoyed doing this, however there is a limit to how much I really do enjoy it.

I’m not a big fan of being a trades person any longer as there’s a proportion of the general public who think they can click their fingers and you will come running.

It’s simply not for me any more.

Good luck for the future uksparks. I wish you every success in whatever you choose to do next. I must admit that I've been having similar thoughts as of late.

Lofts and awkward customers I can live with ..... it's the competition from completely unqualified cowboys, from the under-qualified boys who work for pocket-money prices, and from the one-day rewire 'specialists' who go bankrupt then set-up again soon thereafter under a different trading name that are slowly driving me to the point of quitting the trade and doing something else for the last few years of my working life.
