I am a trainee electrician, can any one tell me if i buy a second hand VC99+ 6999 auto range multimeter tester Amp C Tcompared FLUKE analog bar does this comply with the uk regs?

I think you are better off buying an mft(multi function tester) as this is what you really need to do all your tests when wiring, far more usefull than a multimeter,as it does your earth loop rcd and insulation resistance tests amongst other things which a multimeter cannot.
