Looking for a supplier of vintage/aged looking metal clad accessories. I have a client who has just purchased a run down cottage as a renovation project. The kitchen has painted brick walls, which she loves and wants to maintain. She would like the cable runs in steel conduit and the accessories to have a vintage industrial look. I'm having trouble sourcing anything other than new metal clad switches and sockets, which for her, just look too new. I have considered distressing the faceplates but I don't really want to court any warranty issues. Can anyone point me in the right direction or a specialist company. Many thanks.

We took a few out of a couple of farms in which they were in a barn and also from a factory. Took them home and polished the switches and was fetching 40-60 a switch. Could be an expensive job but if your stuck try eBay plenty of people refurbish them and put them on, only thing is they are obviously used but functional.

Are there any closed hospitals, factories, schools, military establishments near you. From my experience of visiting old hospitals they have much of what you are looking for.

Plenty of old Bakelite 13amp sockets on eBay, can't find much in metal clad on there.
