Hi all

I have just bought the above alarm for a job and the customer has asked for the alarm to contact her when the alarm is set off, so I have bought the gsm pack for it.

Just going ring through the pack and there's a SIM card slot but no SIM card in the package? What do I do,just buy a simcard? With credit I take it lol? Or is the pack ment to come with a simcard?

never installed the gsm pack before so a little guidance would be great

ps don't seem to have acces to the alarm section if anyone can solve this for me to would be great

thanks

Yes you/customer needs to buy a PAYGO sim or a contract SIM card.
if you go PAYGO you must tell customer, to keep it topped up. I take it you have also tested that you get a good GSM signal where the panel is to be mounted.

PAYG will need to be used at least once a month, or it will be disconnected, Most panels can be programmed for weekly test calls to prevent disconnection. Vodafone and O2 have a data contract sim, for around £1.75 per month, limit 75mb
