Got a customer with 2 Vortice Lineo fans. they are currently on seperate switches. both run separately from the lights. one in a en-suite the other the family bathroom.
I have access above via the loft.
Customer wants them to run when the light is on then run for x minutes afterwards via the usual over run.
She has sent me pictures her son has taken in the loft, it appears that these fans are missing the timer module that sits in the top? possibly not timer model to begin with?
Does anybody know if Vortice supply the timer modules that pop in the top as a stand alone to turn it into the timer version? she really doesnt want to replace the fans as they are not exactly cheap and these are really good models.
Otherwise it will be small run on timers to put in attic before the fans. but wanted to ask around first.

That is the standard version of that fan the timer version is Lineo 100 TV0. Vortice I think make a timer module, but it's not specific for that fan and iirc is quite costly itself.

Gavin any timer module will do surely it's only a little circuit board, I've got a few on my van that I've taken out of other timer fans as in an under £20 jobbie and then used for other things, that's what I would use even if just in an adaptable box outside of the fan

Did cobsider using one out of Sone old fans myself. Got a few on the rubbish pile. Might have a play and see what i got.
Hadnt considered that myself.sometimes the simple things are looking you right in the face.
