Wall light problems!!

2 wall lights need replacing.... Switch wired correctly, One wired up correctly but no power to the second/end wall light. Earth core is live in the first of the wall light!!! Customer does not want cables ripped out because of new carpet...
What goes where????

Has that third single block in the first picture got a neutral and an Earth in it?
Theres an extra core - can’t make it out in the photo!

No that is a single earth cable. I just but a sleeve on it as a 'note to self' moment

Not to hand for about a fortnight! Was meant to be a quick look and replacement.... Not going to leave a live earth tho

Yes..... But I can't remember which wire went where because they were all burnt until I stripped them back

No CPC in the neutrals.

Also when I wired it as it should be.... The end light only had 120v running to it. Never lit the bulb tho

Sounds like a damaged cable, she you say the earth is live what voltage is on it

having looked again at the pic on my lap top but when I saw he
picture on my old Nokia phone. the cpc is with a brown over sleeved
together ,or am I mistaken.
