Hi guys, just quoting for a job in a warehouse (steel frame). They want a 2G socket in the middle of the warehouse floor between vehicles. No option of chasing out the concrete floor. So are there any products available to hang from the perlins or RSJ's somehow?

Any ideas?

Thanks, Ad.

Perhaps I was a bit too vague... It is in the middle of the warehouse, no walls to fix anything to. At the moment they are running extension leads across the floor which are being run-over by vans.

Id use unit-strut fixed at the floor and ceiling, some uni-strut lid and mount a socket to it. I'm sure it comes in 6m lengths.
It does come in 6m lengths, its a bugger on top your van though.
Personally I think it might be a bit wobbly and I like the idea of the scaffold pole. any you could put an exhaust type U bracket on

Get it delivered to site...

How come no one has mentioned unistrut couplers?

There are internal or external couplers

Personally on the internal I would drill the holes out to 8mm and use 8mm bolts and nuts
