Just looking for a new template for the revamp of our company website.
Come across a template that had this image as the background. looked at the 'stock' image and thought 'Erm, What's he testing?'
Made me chuckle a little.

Clearly chosen for his blue-steel good looks. I'm afraid testing for voltage between 2 earth pins won't be very revealing, even if he can get GS38 probes inside the shutters :)

He's making sure its not one of those Chinese MK rip off from EBAY by checking the two earth connections are actually connected.
Worse than that he suspects there maybe mains across them hence the tester he's using.

Behind him is easy. The metal stud work prevented them dropping the cables from the socket above to the one below. So the plan is to surface lay them and then skim plaster over the top. A random cable lay is less noticeable than a straight line.

It looks like shomething is plugged into a socket that is hanging off the wall with a crap load of cat 5 jumping out of 1 hole and back into the other.

Good looking ------- though...

Also notice no CPC to the back box

Good thing its a depe back box as that's a lot of unstripped cable to lose in there.

Odd seems to be a think pink pipe or wire coming out the hole then back round into a black handle.

Maybe a hover that's been completely sucked into the wall.....

Big question is - @gccs are you going to use it for the blue steel looks alone?
And you lot - leave the guy alone, he obviously has no idea what he's doing but his rugged good looks make up for it all!
Plain fact is - you can't be handsome and good at your job, it's one or the other . . . . or am I wrong?

Nah, wasn't too keen on the theme itself! And I wouldnt use the image through fear of it getting flagged and slated on the forum lol.

Consider it pre-flagged and pre-slated. All the best in your search. You see things as you go along and need to record them there and then or you'll forget.

Its days before the weekend. Got to fill the time somehow.
So we don't need CPC onto metal backboxes. I'll make a note for my next assessment.

Do we know the backbox has fixed and not floating mounting lugs?
Not required if fixed lugs but I was taught it was good workmanship to add them. So always have.
