can you please give me some advice electrician has run a 3 core and earth from boiler to room stat honeywell 2360b who connects the stat and who connects to the boiler ??

Depends whos Part P regestered as this work is notifiable , realistically its the responcability of the electrician not the plumber and as IQ has said

is a electrician alowed to make connections in a gas boiler(removing covers)?

i see no problem with this. connecting the stat in the boiler does not interfere with the gas side of it.

Exactly, 'don't disturb the gas route' is the advice we received from Gas Safe.

We get a fair bit of work from a plumber who basically rings us as soon as he suspects an electrical problem with the heating system (about 80% of the time!).
