Hi, Im would like to know if i would currently be able to provide the right jobs to join NICEIC approved scheme.
I Have been an electrician for the last 12 years fully qualified all tickets etc.... but have been with my company for 1 and a half years on various projects. we are currently working on a commercial type job that comprises of a gentlemens club, hotel and plush apartments. I have tested almost 20 of the apartments, as well as fully wired apartments myself. I have only got 2 private rewires that i would definately be able to get access to (domestic). My question is would these jobs be enough to satisfy an application to be assessed on.

Many thanks in advanced

LH

Generally it would be best to ask the NICEIC if the jobs would be acceptable.

They would be looking to see jobs that you have installed, inspected and certificated yourself so that they can compare the recorded details with the installation to verify your competence.

The apartments woudl be useful to demonstrate capability, the rewires would be relevant to verification of your competence.

Is it you or the company being assessed ? they usually like to see 5 compleated jobs for AC's if you are doing both types of work they like to see both examples youv'e got the rewires, new apartements and high spec work in progress.
