In a 2 way circuit what colour is the switch wire

Blue with brown tape
or
brown

could be either depending if they have used twin brown or just blue/brown t+e and marked the other conductor either is acceptable.

Also in 2 way ther would be another 3core+earth,
either brown black grey or red yellow blue in old colours and should be marked as live conductors too.

as above mate. usually, when wiring switches with t&e, i will use the brown as the feed to the switch, and blue with brown sleeving as the switch wire.

It is the new colours 3 core + CPC

so all need sleeved brown as a live conductor so that would be your blue from your switch wire and the grey and black from the strappers.

It doesnt matter what colour the switch wire is, providing it is marked as a live conductor, if it inst already sheathed brown.
