My name is Daniel Pullan and am new to the Electrician game.

What are the chances of finding possible work experience to work alongside an electrician? I am very flexible in my hours. I have just completed and passed the C & G 2365 Electrical Installations Diploma (Level 2 and Level 3) with the 2357 bridging unit alongside, as well as the 17th Edition Amendment 3 BS7671 regulation exam.

I am especially interested in lighting design and want to learn about home automation.

Being the fact I'm 42 years old, am I in trouble?! Do I need to join a full apprenticeship setup which I did actually join before, only to be told I wasn't allowed to be on the apprenticeship programme because I had a degree??!! I'm really at a loss where to begin?

Can anyone help me out with this conundrum please because I'm enthusiastic and keen to learn. You can only do so much wiring up a board in a garage!

Thank You!

Daniel.

Welcome

Maybe you should give more of a clue as to where Nutley is and how far you would be willing to travel.

Good luck.
east sussex, (unless it's in jersey). google is your friend. ner, ner. :38:

Actually correction on previous thread, I would be prepared to work in a 40 mile area from where I live such as Uckfield, Heathfield, Lewes, Hailsham, Eastbourne, Haywards Heath, Hailsham, Crowborough.

I know BUT the OP wants to find experience - and by updating the thread with more details he might be lucky....

Its a bit like posters who give part of a "story" then fail to respond to questions - garbage in, garbage out!
