Sorry just noted i cant spell for toffee should be WORK GLOVES
Hi everyone, starting a job on monday for an agency and they have stipulated gloves and stuff PPE. just wondering what everyone has as there are many makes and many many prices.

From the days when I worked on sites doing Sound Insulation Testing (part E of building regs) for Osborne Homes, Barratt Southern Counties and other largish companies that stipulated gloves and goggles amongst other stuff, we just used bog-standard black or grey gloves - Nothing special.

I don't think the electricians had anything special either.

The strange thing was that even the site managers who wore the basic gloves, cut the fingers off theirs about halfway, so their fingers were exposed... Seems a little counter to the use of them in the first place!
 
What i carry is : Hard Hat , Hi Vis jacket , goggles , Full body harness , standard gloves , ear protectors , P3 face masks , disposable overalls , Steal toe capped wellis , emergency eye was , and anit bacterial hand wash Alchohol based like in hospitals . safety shoes i wear any way from the time i leave for work to the time i get back
