Hi
I'm after a bit of advice please.
In the UK I worked as an electricians mate for 4 years and did start my C&G L2 Electrician course, but drop out just before the exams because of unforeseen circumstances, since then, my wife got a job in Germany and I have been living here looking after my baby daughter for the past 18 months, but the time has come and I want to get back to work, problem is,I don't have any formal qualification.

I consider myself as competent electrician(I know I don't know everything) and I was thinking of coming back to England to complete my courses at a training centre.
What I'm having problems with, is choosing which course to do.

I know the C&G L2+L3 Electrical Installation Course would allow me to work over here as an Electrician, but can cost up to ÂŁ6500 with these training centres.

However,I've also seen the Part P Domestic installer course, which I think is only about ÂŁ1000 to do, but I'm not sure if that would be recognised over here.

Any advice would be much appreciated

Thanks
