working out mft

got myself a fluke 1653, been figuring out the functions and how it works etc, but am unsure on the pefc/pscc because its a 3 lead test, do i connect all 3 at the same time, when i done 2330 we used kewtech stuff which was 2 lead test, i want to be 100% sure before i try it out

thats what i done with kewtech tester, plugged blue into green croc clip, but on this one you cant

I just use the L&N leads when doing pscc test. Pressing F1 button changes the setting and the little black dots indicate the leads to use. That's what I thought anyway!

good point, ive got the instruction disc but it doesnt work on my computer, got to get a new one(disc), trouble is i cant wait because my new toy has arrived and i want to play with it now

on my fluke 1653 when you turn the dial to test, it shows the leads to use on the display screen.

short circuit current says use l & n, i understand that, but pefc says use all 3 so what im trying to say is do i connect all 3, green to met, neutral to neutral and live to live

For PEFC you connect the neutral for the meter to work, connect green to met, neutral to neutral and live to live.
