Just wanted to get some opinions on the following...

Working in a bathroom conversion requiring supply for a shower pump, changing lights to downlight and power to a demister mirror.

House currently has an old CCU with wired fuses and no RCD's. And lighting circuit has no cpc.

For shower pump supply I thought using a SFCU with RCD.

For downlight with no cpc I presume I need to put N/A on cert for R1+R2 and Zs readings and add an advisory about upgrading wiring.

As for demister mirror, to be safe I was thinking of using a SFCU with RCD also.

Client assures me they are going to have a rewire but I want to make sure all my work is safe and up to regs without presuming a future upgrade to CCU.

Any thoughts?

Chris, why would your client, pay you to do the work you describe only to have it all pulled out when they say they are planning a rewire? seems like they are just wanting the work done and sid the rewire, watch yourself, could be a mess of trouble for you.
