Wylex NHTPSH100, What fuse type?

Can't shut off this switch fuse to see what type of fuse is in it. Needed for EIC.

It says 100A but not the type, I'm guessing its a BS88 but would like to know if this is all they take or if they vary, in which case it'll have to be a scheduled shut down.

Internet doesn't really give any clues so I'm drawing on the expertise on here.

Without physically seeing it you can assume nothing, it maybe wrapped with wire.

In an ideal world yes but we don't routinely remove mains fuses to check whats in?

I'm inclined to go that way unless I can get some manufacturers specs which state with some certainty what type they take.

You cannot say for certainty what is in there aside from a British Standard maybe unless you can see it.

This is the monkey, it says 100A although this may be the maximum allowable, so just interested in the fuse type.

It has a sticker with test dates but there are no schedules or certs to hand and they're is no one to ask over Xmas.

They will be BS88 and they normally come with fitted links to the size of switch so 100A. The problem is they are likely to be A4 size and off the top of my head that size ranges from 100 to 200A so you can take nothing for granted.

Yep, Wilko's link above confirms everything you say, not that I doubt you.
