Question about the Definition of #6 wiring standards for Thailand as of 2023?
I am having a House/Villa built in Thailand and I wanted to wire one room with both 110 & 220 capability? The contractor wrote back and said the cannot provide the 110 volt out let, but that they can wire it with #6 wire standard for Thailand. I'm not familiar enough with their terminology, and if I can successfully have them safely do this? Is there someone here who can explain the Pros vs Cons of trying to wire both 110 volt and 220 voltage to the same outlet? And what do they mean when they say that it will be wired with a #6 standard? They are also telling me that they do not have the 110 volt plug socket like we have in the USA. But if I provide it they will wire it using the #6 wire standard. So I guess my question is, if I provide the 110 volt socket outlet for them... is there an issue using the Thailand #6 wire code the mention in their email?

For the electric outlet on your request we will prepare the electric wire system with cable number 6 as your request it on the additional plan. But I apologize for the special socket you had request that we can not get it in Thailand. I recommend it to be on your cost and we will install it for you as it remarked on the quotation..
