Due to my limited knowlage of lighting circuits I was wondering if you could have 3 lights off a 1 gang switch?

in the loft there is an existing light on a Batton holder off the switch, so I was wondering if now I could add an extra 2 lights off this one, e.g. Run 2.5 from the middle light to the other 2 lights, again if this is utter **** it's down to my lack of knowlage of lighting. If not how could it be done, thanks.

Yes but as above get a sparky in to do it, he shouldn't charge that much

Yes it can be done quite easily, however due to your self confessed lack of knowledge you shouldn't try it. Hawk's and Pete's advice is probably the best you'll get today

If you can give us a little more information about your own ability and experience of electrical installation work then we can give the best advice for you.

Dave with respect he has been given the best advice already. This is not a dig at the op but too ask this question then clearly he shouldnt be doing it.

Also this should be in the DIY section if you do not have access then PM a mod' to grant you access.
