31F, Scotland - Starting out

Hi everyone,
Thanks for clicking on my post! I have just applied to sit my pre employment test (SECTT),I've done practice questions and all seems straight forward enough. Looking to get a bit more advice re getting employed as an adult apprentice. I'm in the NE of Scotland. I always wanted to do a trade but was put off by people telling me it wasn't a girls job lol, so ended up in accountancy. Honestly I'm absolutely buzzing already to get started, any tips/advice/straight up job offers would be much appreciated.

My mate stays near Inverness (Kiltatlity) and they are crying out for tradespeople

Cannot get any decent ones for love or money

I'm not as North as Inverness unfortunately. In between Dundee and Aberdeen. But if needs must then I don't mind relocation!
