C&G 2330 Exam

Hi can anyone help me, i've got an exam coming up and cant rememeber how to work out total resistance in a parallel circuit, i know if the 3 resisters are 20, 40 and 60 the formula is Rt = 1/20 + 1/40 + 1/60, but how do i physically work it out

Rt= 1/(reciprocal of each R added)

s0 for 20,40,60

Rt= 1/ ( 0.05+0.025+0.016 ) = 1/0.091 =10.99ohms

just rechecked. should have bee 0.017 rounding up 0.01666666

Just had this in my 202 exam

If you have a scientific calculator it's easy

20x-1 + 40x-1 + 60x-1 = 11/120 = 120/11 = 10.90
