At 42k per year, 44hrs per week roughly £20per hour, that's pretty decent coin for cards in. But with the travel 60hrs per week roughly £14.5per hour.
I suppose your decision will depend on the amount of hourly uplift if going Ltd.

If I was earning £42 k plus perks , I very much doubt I would go SE ..... You would probably need about £10k more to consider it ....

As a rough guide cards in job 42k a year , van for works use only , hold pay etc
Or same labour only as limited company 42k , 100 mile a week travel
At the end of business year , with good accountant , in which situation would you be better off money wise
