I have been to look at a job today, they want a cat run wiring, It has two small panel heaters and a bulked head light. I am able to take a feed from a socket in the out building which has its own DB with RCD protection. My question is, is this classed as a special location therefore requiring an electrical installation certificate and notifying.
Thanks

it needs certification, as does every job that is not a simple repair. not notifiable, IM0, but cables should have mechanical protection. cat's claws and teeth are sharp.
