Help Bathroom light won't work

Hi this is confusing me I am not sure what the 2 black wires should be doing
My light won't connnect

The two loose blacks are likely neutrals and belong with the two blues in the connector.

The black with red tape is the switch wire.

Switchwire to L of your fitting, blacks and blues to N and of course green/yellow to E


Ideally, and more importantly, safer is that all that be put in a joint box above the ceiling (attic above?) and just have a L,N and E coming down through ceiling to fitting.


Important warning:
The reds and browns all tied together there is a permanent live. Isolate the circuit before working on it.

Wouldn't like to give any advice on that mess whatsoever, other than it needs attention from someone who knows what they're doing, and all fitting into an enclosure.

Needs stripping back. Correctly connected in an enclosure with only the 3 wires for the fitting in question coming from that enclosure etc

There is live copper showing where all the red supply cables are twisted into one of those crap twistnut or whatever you call them things.Get a sparky to re terminate all of that mess
