Hi this is confusing me I am not sure what the 2 black wires should be doing
My light won't connnect

The two loose blacks are likely neutrals and belong with the two blues in the connector.

The black with red tape is the switch wire.

Switchwire to L of your fitting, blacks and blues to N and of course green/yellow to E


Ideally, and more importantly, safer is that all that be put in a joint box above the ceiling (attic above?) and just have a L,N and E coming down through ceiling to fitting.


Important warning:
The reds and browns all tied together there is a permanent live. Isolate the circuit before working on it.
