hi ladies and gents,

was working today with a palmtop laser level that gives a horizontal or vertical line or both. its self levelling and its brill. I was putting up plastic tubing and this bit of kit was well handy. also used it to mark out shop fittings by measuring on the floor, and transfering the measurements to the wall using this (was all sorts of things in way on wall).

has anyone got ay reccomendations of a reasonably priced one, and the cheapest place to get them?

cheers,

John

The problem with cheap ones is that the laser line will fade in bright daylight and make it impossible to use.
I think that every sparks should have one they pay for themselves in the first year,

Some times cheap is false economy

I have a couple of American ones, cant remember make but they are the dogs for fitting downlights in ceilings etc. Had them years, they have a couple of spring loaded sharp pins which stick into the ceiling to hold it upside down. I paid about £25 each for them on't bay.
