Evening,
Got a text about 6 weeks ago, owner of flat above one I had done an eicr & works in wanted me to sort communal area pwr & lite. Advised same as previous leasehold common areas should be on l/lord/service supply, but is not. She says she will take it on as its a shambles. Also wants eicr & remedial/upgrades on her flat when vacant. Long & short after EICR & agreeing works by me, she now wants the p&d's fully qualified plumber & electrician(same person) to do all remedial/upgrade works in the flat on the back of my report, I am to do communal areas only.
Thoughts people please?

Im a Qualified Painter, Plumber with C&G level 2&3 Electrical along 18th Edition.
Is this a problem to a true Sparks...

There are definitely some people who can master more than one trade very well, I've met a couple of people like that over the years and they're worthy of respect. But with the increasing complexity and requirements thrust upon us I'm sticking to the electrics solely, well maybe the odd compression fitting on a shower swap.

I haven't tried that with a client or architect, did the earth move for them or was it bonded?

Interesting as we are just going through the process of uoskilling our electricians to become AC installers also.

That will be putting others out of work as they cannot do the supplies where as we will be able to do the lot.
