outside meter to inside cu

hi can someone help me i have to run tails to an outside meter cu 20 meters away i have a duct installed but can i run tails this far or shuold i run an armoured and would ukpn allow a switched fuse to be in there cabinet or could i get away with an double pole isolater thanks for your help

Who supplied the meter cabinet?
If UKPN supplied it, then I guess they would have the right to decide what goes in it.

The meter cabinet was supplied by client so would that mean its up to him as he owns it

The most you'll get away with in a DNO cabinet is a small KMF style switchfuse.

Any bigger and they'll start complaining no end. Problem is, is that a KMF isn't suitable for SWA as you cannot gland & secure the cable correctly.

An additional cabinet of your own, adjacent to the DNO one would be best IMO.
