"Hello Victor",
I wonder if this equipment is available for use in France ?:
Automated Home - SMS Text Message Control of Your Heating and Other Devices
A bit of a late response, but thought I'd post as this is the system I use and I find it very good & very reliable.
First off, I have an O2 SIM card in the unit, costing me £5 a month for unlimited TXTs on Pay as you Go (although I believe the cheapest new SIM they do is £7.50 a month now).
I have wired the outputs to my air conditioning system (heats & cools) and my immersion heater via a mains relay (the inbuilt relays will only handle 5amps).
The inputs are wired to the smoke alarms and a small PSU on the ring main (via a relay) to alert me if the power fails.
TXT controls are easy. For example, TXTing the box "AC ON" does exactly that. "AC OFF" - well, it's obvious isn't it...
If the power fails or the house burns down I'll know about it from a far too. Joking aside the "power fail" alarm has saved a freezer full of food once last year. I was at Alton Towers, got a "power fail" alarm and a few hours later called the neighbour who said it HAD failed earlier, but was restored, so suspected my RCB had tripped as hers had when it was restored. She popped in, reset it and avoided me a couple of defrosted freezers.
Note, for this feature to work you need to have the unit on a battery backed supply, but that isn't rocket science either.
Happy to answer any questions as I enjoy using the unit so much
